About Your Private Beach

Your Private Beach is a guide to vacation rentals that put you on a quiet beach. We cover Turks and Caicos, the Riviera Maya and Guanacaste, Costa Rica, and we're adding more.

How we choose properties

  • The property is on the beach or has its own path or gate to it.
  • It's bookable through a real platform or the owner's own site.
  • We label each one: private island, private beach access or secluded beach.

What we won't claim

Most beaches in Mexico, Costa Rica and Turks and Caicos are public at the shoreline by law. We only call a beach "private" when the whole island is private. We don't post fake reviews, and we don't use listing photos without permission. Images on this site are free-license or concept images, not photos of the properties.
